ABOUT DOMINIK ERNE
Ultra-endurance runner · Speaker · Independent Marketing & Communications Expert
From childhood onward, I learned to stand my ground. Difference was visible, and life was not always comfortable or fair. I did not wait for things to resolve themselves, and I never learned to step aside easily. That mindset shaped me, sometimes for the good, sometimes for the bad.

Sport became an essential vehicle early in my life. Not because things were calm, but because they weren’t. Training and competition taught me discipline, responsibility and consequences at a time when other parts of life were unstable. Strength and excess coexisted for years.

Over time, sport has become about more than results alone. Performance still matters. A lot. But this understanding has developed gradually – through thorough preparation, focus, and full commitment when it matters most.

Today, for me, ultra-endurance is no longer about proving strength. It has become a framework for reflecting on leadership, resilience, pushing limits, and long-term decision-making.

Experience has shown me that people – myself included – are capable of far more than they often assume, when ambition is paired with commitment and disciplined execution.
